Keefe Tan is Project Director on the Gennix microlending platform which will launch in August 2021. Gennix is a decentralized, frictionless digital asset borrowing and lending protocol that leverages Layer 2 scaling solutions on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

At 24, Keefe Tan is one of the new breed of ‘Generation Z’ (born between 1997-2005) who are characterized by their ability to work smart and question traditional methods of doing this which may be inefficient or hidebound.

A graduate of the Singapore Institute of Management and the University of London, where he majored in economics, Keefe got his start in crypto investment in 2014 whilst furthering his studies in Manchester, United Kingdom. Finding the concept of Decentralised Finance (DeFi) to be an interesting one, he dabbled together with friends and gained exposure to literally hundreds of protocols including DeFi borrowing and lending platforms, open sandbox virtual worlds, payment ecosystems and protocols, exchanges and liquidity platforms, custodial services, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and NFT marketplaces, derivative protocols, stablecoins and prediction markets.
